Demetria is serving her first term on the CDPI Board as President. In this role, she oversees CDPI's Board of Directors and facilitates completion of strategic goals and initiatives for the organization and its members. Currently she is a Career Coach for Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne specializing in working with diverse populations of students including 21st Century Scholars, first generation and adult learners.
Andrea works as Associate Director of Career Education at the Walter Center for Career Achievement serving students in the College of Arts & Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington (IUB). She has worked in career services for the entirety of her professional career, having been at IUB since 2013. She has served on the Board of Directors for CDPI since 2015, having begun as Director of Member Services. As Past-President, Andrea will serve as a mentor to the President, recruit new board members and assist with implementing CDPI's mission.
Keely is currently working as a Career Consultant in the Health & Life Sciences Advising Center at IUPUI, working with first-year and sophomore pre-health students. Keely earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from DePauw University, and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from UCONN. She is in her first term as Treasurer on the CDPI Board.
Nick promotes the activities of CDPI to build and maintain positive relationships with key constituencies. He assists in delivering the mission and brand of CDPI through our communications, as well as updating the website. He works as an Associate Director for Strategic Planning and Initiatives with the Career Development Center at IU Bloomington.
Meg is a natural opportunity visionary and encourager. As the founder and resume writer of Hinge Resume Collaborative, she is a matchmaker for people and their next opportunity through resume writing and design. She holds the certified professional resume writer (CPRW) credential and a Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs. She is an 'Ask the Experts' contributor for the National Resume Writers' Association and her work is featured in the most recent edition of Resume For DummiesⓇ. A native Hoosier and enthusiast of antiques and old homes, she is driven by her faith, family, dark chocolate and her morning cup of coffee.
Shannon serves as the Director of Learn More Indiana at the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. As CDPI's Professional Development Coordinator, Shannon oversees plans to provide professional development opportunities (through webinars, online resources and in-person events) for the organization's membership. This is her first term on the CDPI Board.
