Kevin Lema is the Assistant Program Director of Undergraduate Career Services at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University Indianapolis. Kevin servies as the new President of Career Development Professionals of Indiana (CDPI). Kevin received his Bachelor of Science from Purdue University in Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI) in 2018 in Biology & Neuroscience and a Master of Science in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University (2020). With a background in career development and academic advising, Kevin is passionate about helping students integrate their academic pursuits with their career aspirations, and believe that a well-rounded education is essential for success in today's dynamic job market.

Beyond work, Kevin enjoys Marvel, movies, concerts, and spending quality time with friends and family. Fun fact: His favorite food is mashed potatoes!

Carly Gundaker
Director of Digital Communications

Carly Gundaker (she/her) currently serves as Community Engagement Coordinator at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. In her role, she manages BlueWork, Butler's micro-internship platform, with the goal of connecting students and employers for short-term, project-based work opportunities. Her passion for helping others is what led to her pursuing a career in higher education. She graduated in December 2021 from IUPUI and is looking to further her education by pursuing her Master's in 2023.

As Director of Digital Communications for CDPI, Carly is looking forward to connecting with the CDPI community and broadening the range of connection within the organization.

Outside of work, Carly loves to cook, read, and travel.

Lisa Hamilton

President-Elect

Lisa is the Associate Director for Exploratory Career Coaching at the Career Development Center at Indiana University, Bloomington, where is oversees the training and professional development of the career coaching staff. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in education. Lisa also serves as an adjunct lecturer for the Kelley School of Business in the Communication, Professional, and Computer Skills Department.

In her free time, Lisa loves to spend time with family, friends, and her dog. She also enjoys reading, working out, doing yoga, and spending time in nature. 




David Cross

Director of Member Services

David Cross has served in Career Services functions for the past 11 years specializing in career placement and job development for healthcare and skilled trades programs, and currently serves as the Director of Career Services for Fortis College. He earned a Masters of Science in Higher Education from Purdue Global and has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Hanover College. He currently resides in central Indiana with his wife and is a Savate kickboxer outside of the office. He has a strong passion for helping students and graduates pursue employment and tries to bring an air of enthusiasm to the roles he is in.

Keely Floyd

Keely has been involved in higher education since 2009 and currently serves as a lecturer in the Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI. She focuses on coursework related to professional skill development and internships. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in music from DePauw University, and a Master's Degree in higher education from the University of Connecticut. She has held previous positions in college admissions, internship development, and career services.

Outside of work, Keely enjoys spending time with her husband and their young sons, following Indianapolis sports teams, and playing French horn in ensembles throughout the Indianapolis area.

Taiylor Fields

Taiylor currently serves as the Academic Program Coordinator for the Butler University Lacy School of Business where she focuses on the required internship and career mentor programs. She had previous career services experience at Ivy Tech Community College - Indianapolis and IUPUI. She earned a Bachelor's in English from IUPUI, and a Master's in Higher Education and Student Affairs from IU Bloomington. Taiylor has been involved in CDPI since 2019 in various capacities, and is currently serving as our Internship Coordinator!

In her personal time, Taiylor enjoys spending time with her toddler and husband, running, baking, and listening to audiobooks.

Mike Thomas

Director of Professional

Mike Thomas is the Director of Butler University’s Lacy School of Business Career Development Program and the Senior Associate Director of Career and Professional Success. and the Director of the Lacy School of Business Career Development Program. Mike joined Butler’s career development staff in 2014. He is a Certified Professional Coach in addition to other professional certifications. Mike earned an MBA from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bowling Green State University. 

Outside of work, Mike enjoys running, reading and spending time with family and friends. He was a library board president for over a decade and is currently a Westfield Library Foundation Board member. 


Julie Caldwell

Julie Caldwell is the Director of Career Development at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. Julie holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Taylor University. Julie worked in Residence Life for seven years before moving back to Indiana to work at USF.

Julie enjoys reading, consuming media, and exploring new places.

Katie Nelson

Katie Nelson (she/her) currently serves as a Career Development Consultant in the Career and Professional Success office (CaPS) at Butler University. In her role, Katie provides career coaching to Butler students and alumni, as well as creates connections with employers looking to recruit Butler talent. Katie earned a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Spanish from UW-La Crosse, and a masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas. This is her first term as Treasurer for CDPI.

In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, going on weekend road trips, hiking, and testing out new recipes.

Karley Clayton

Historian

Karley (she, her, & hers) works as the Director of Career Services at the Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering in Indianapolis. Through this role, she assists college students in discovering who they are, understanding where they are going, and co-designing paths they may take to get there.

In her free time, you can find her walking the Monon trail, spending time on Duolingo maintaining her streak, or planning her next travel adventure. Karley has traveled to 19 countries, the most recent being Iceland (sans a quick stop in Canada over the summer).
