Spring and Fall Conferences

Packed with useful and timely information, these two conferences are signature events for CDPI members. Volunteer leaders co-chair and plan outstanding one-day conferences, often with well-known speakers and interactive breakout sessions throughout the day. A brief business meeting is held at lunch to keep members informed of the board’s initiatives and progress. One conference is held in central Indiana while the other rotates throughout the state.

CDPI also sponsors additional workshops, typically on a current topic to keep members informed of trends and issues in the discipline. Recent workshops included partnering with NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers) for a Career Coaching Intensive two day workshop, and a one-day drive-in workshop on the Revised GRE Test.

Statewide Virtual Career Fair

Each spring CDPI offers each member institutions the opportunity to participate in an online career fair, matching employers and students via a mechanism they enjoy – the Internet. The fair also draws on the power of numbers, rewarding employers and students with more opportunities than generally available at the traditional meet and greet fairs, saving everyone time and money.
